Consensus five-star Findlay Prep forward P.J. Washington announced Thursday on ESPNU that he would play basketball at national power Kentucky.
He chose the Wildcats over UNLV and North Carolina.
The 6-foot-8-inch Washington said he liked the way Kentucky coach John “Calipari uses his players and gets them to the next level. I felt that would be great for me.”
Washington is listed by ESPN.com as the nation’s No. 16 prospect, by 247Sports at No. 15 and No. 17 by Rivals.com.
