Nieuwenhuis powers 51s past Fresno with three-run homers

Kirk Nieuwenhuis hit two three-run homers and Johnny Monell added another to power the 51s to an 11-5 win over the Fresno Grizzlies in a Pacific Coast League game Friday in Fresno, Calif. Nieuwenhuis also homered Thursday for Las Vegas, which has won eight of its past nine games.
