Muno lifts 51s from bottom of order in 10-4 win at Omaha

No. 9 hitter Daniel Muno went 3-for-4, including a three-run homer in the second inning, to power the 51s to a 10-4 Pacific Coast League victory over the Omaha Storm Chasers on Tuesday night in Papillion, Neb.
The 51s (73-59) scored in only two innings, but batted around in both. They had a six-run second and four-run ninth en route to their only victory in the four-game series.
Matt Reynolds and Josh Satin also had three hits apiece for Las Vegas, which totaled 15. Taylor Teagarden had two, including a two-run single that capped the four-run ninth.
Cory Mazzoni (4-1) went seven innings for the 51s, allowing all four runs on six hits with no walks. Miguel Socolovich pitched the final two innings, striking out four, to get his third save.
Carlos Peguero homered twice and drove in all four runs for Omaha (69-61). He hit five home runs in the final three games of the series and has 27 this season.
Las Vegas now returns to Cashman Field for its final homestand of the season. The team will host New Orleans for four games beginning at 7:05 p.m. today, followed by a four-game series against Round Rock before ending the regular season with four games at Albuquerque.
