Woman police found in yard dies of bullet wound to head

A 29-year-old North Las Vegas woman died after suffering a gunshot wound outside a house near Gowan and Pecos roads Monday night.

North Las Vegas police found Nedra Williams in the front yard of a single-family house in the 3600 block of King Charles Street about 11 p.m.

She was taken to University Medical Center but died. The Clark County coroner’s office said she was killed by a gunshot wound to her head.

Anyone with information about the shooting can call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
