U.S. 95 south lanes reopen after fatal crash

A man died after a single rollover crash Monday morning on U.S. Highway 95, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

The wreck happened about 8:30 a.m., NHP trooper Loy Hixson said. The 48-year-old driver crashed in the southbound lanes near Jones Boulevard and was thrown out of the vehicle.

He was taken to University Medical Center where he died.

The deadly crash closed three right lanes near Jones Boulevard for about two hours, delaying traffic starting from Summerlin Parkway.
