Clark County opens aquatic center in southwestern Las Vegas Valley

Clark County opened its first public pool in five years on Thursday.

The Aquatic Springs Indoor Pool is located at 7025 South Fort Apache Road. It’s open year-round from Monday through Saturday.

In addition to its nearly 30,000-square-foot large main pool, the facility features a 25-meter-by-25-yard lap pool and a 1,800-square-foot pool for water aerobics and swimming lessons.

Daily admission to the pool is $2 for children, $3 for adults and $1 for people 55 and older. Children 2 or younger can access the pool for free.

The last public pool the county opened was the Hollywood Aquatic Center, on South Hollywood Boulevard in the eastern valley, in 2012. Altogether the county operates 14 pools: five indoor and nine outside.

More information on the county’s public pools, including season pass prices, can be found at ClarkCountyNV.gov.
