Las Vegas police said a pedestrian died after being struck by a minivan early Wednesday morning on Spring Mountain Road near Hauck Street.
A woman was crossing Spring Mountain outside of the crosswalk about 5:45 a.m. when the minivan, traveling east, struck her, according to police. She was taken to University Medical Center, where she died.
Spring Mountain has reopened in both directions between Decatur Boulevard and Lindell Road, according to police.
