Turn those Marshall amps down from “11.” The Las Vegas Guitar Festival is produced by the International Guitar Institute to shine the spotlight on classical, flamenco and jazz guitar styles.
An afternoon performance features Nathan Fischer with Cristina Ballatori on flute, and Nicholas Goluses. Admission is $12 to the 4:30 p.m. concert in the Beam Music Center, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway.
The evening concert at 8 p.m. in the same theater is by Duo Erato, the team of Martha Masters and Risa Carlson. Tickets are $25; call 739-3267.
