School presents Irish dances

Maybe you’re in withdrawal because “Riverdance” hasn’t been here in a couple of weeks. Or perhaps you’re curious about Irish dance without all the glitz.

The “World Steps Dance Series” today presents the St. Celtic Storm Dance Company of the Sharon Lynn Academy of Irish Dance at the Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive.

Sharon Lynn (Rezendes) opened her Irish dance school in southwest Las Vegas 11 years ago. She has danced in both Ireland and the United States since she was 6.

Tickets are $7-$10 for the 2 p.m. show; call 455-7340.
