Take kids to ‘Land of the Dragon’

What? School’s been out since Thursday and the kids are already bored?

The Rainbow Company Youth Theater has been fighting such boredom for 30 years. Its latest production is “The Land of the Dragon,” a Chinese tale of a pet dragon first published in 1946.

Arrive early and see an exhibit of the company’s 30-year history. Showtime is 2 p.m. at the Charleston Heights Arts Center, 800 S. Brush Street. Tickets are $3-$7; call 229-6383.
