Officials looking for teens on crime spree in South

Two Kentucky teens missing for since early January are reportedly on a crime spree in the South.

Deputies in Grayson County, Kentucky, have been looking for Cheyenne Phillips, 13, and her boyfriend, Dalton Hayes, 18. They were reported missing on Jan. 3.

Officials say the two were spotted at a Wal-Mart in Manning, South Carolina, on Monday, WLTX reported.

Manning is 60 miles southeast of Columbia, South Carolina.

They were driving a red Toyota Tacoma truck that investigators say was stolen from a neighboring Kentucky farm.

Authorities believe they headed to Georgia, where they may have stolen another truck. The owner said there were two guns in the truck.

Hayes’ mother, Tammy Martin, said her son recently started dating Cheyenne.

Shawn Phillips, Cheyenne’s father, said when he last saw his daughter she was happy and calm.
