Motorcyclist killed in Wednesday accident identified

A motorcyclist who died after colliding with a car Wednesday afternoon was identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Tyler Slade Weber, 19, of Las Vegas, died after hitting a sedan at the intersection of Miller Lane and West Sahara Avenue, between Cimarron Road and Buffalo Drive, about 3:15 p.m., according to Las Vegas police.

The driver of the sedan did not seem impaired, police said, and an investigation of excessive speed of the motorcycle is ongoing. No charges or citations were issued at the time of the accident.

Sahara was closed in both directions for about four hours.
