Man killed in Las Vegas motorcycle crash identified

The motorcycle rider who died after colliding with a pickup Thursday night has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as William Donnelly, 44, of Henderson.

Donnelly was riding a 2005 Harley Davidson west on Desert Inn Road when he struck a 2005 Chevrolet pickup turning left through the intersection at Brentwood Street.

Donnelly was thrown from the Harley and taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he later died.

The truck’s driver and passenger suffered minor injuries.

The cause and manner of death had not been determined Saturday.

This was the 26th traffic-related fatality in Las Vegas police’s jurisdiction this year.
