UNLV names new College of Education dean

UNLV on Tuesday announced that Kim Metcalf will become the new College of Education dean.

Metcalf, currently serves as the director of institutional research and planning at the University of West Georgia. He’s expected to take the helm of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ College of Education July 1, according to a news release.

Metcalf’s annual base salary will be $206,000. He will replace William Speer, who has served as the interim dean since July 2009, according to the release.
