Henderson hosts free College Nights workshop

The Henderson Blue Ribbon Commission on Educational Excellence and Youth Opportunity is hosting College Nights, a workshop designed to teach parents and students how to find and apply for college scholarships.

College Nights will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 26 and Sept. 27 at Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St.

The free workshop is sponsored by the Henderson Parks and Recreation Department. Participants are asked to RSVP by calling 267-4016, but walk-ins are welcome.

College Nights will cover topics such as searching for college scholarships and completing strong applications.

CSN enrollment open for spring semester
