Farewell fit for a king: Givens Elementary hosts send-off for fifth-graders

Givens Elementary School, 655 Park Vista Drive, hosted a celebration for its fifth-graders June 3 to mark the end of their elementary school careers. Coordinating with volunteers from the Tournament of Kings at Excalibur, the event featured medieval-style props such as jousting sticks, and the students created their own mascot and came up with a clan name.
