The College of Southern Nevada’s vice president of student affairs has resigned from his position.

Santos Martinez resigned from his post and his duties will be spread among Patricia Charlton, senior vice president of finance and administration and Darren Divine, vice president of academic affairs, on a temporary basis, according to college officials.

Martinez was hired by CSN in 2012 from McLennan Community College in Waco, Texas, where he had previously served as vice president of student services.
