Dancer Lacey Schwimmer on plane grounded at LAX

Lacey Schwimmer, a pro dancer for six seasons on “Dancing With the Stars,” was on a plane grounded Friday at Los Angeles International Airport during the deadly TSA shooting.

Schwimmer was on a Las Vegas-to-Los Angeles flight. All flights were canceled during the incident, which erupted about 9:20 a.m. at a TSA security checkpoint.

The Associated Press reports that a TSA agent was shot and killed and two more people were wounded. The shooting took place in the Tom Bradley Terminal.

Schwimmer’s first tweet read: “Landed at LAX to find out a shooting has happened here! Hope everyone is okay:/”

In her second tweet, she wrote: “LAX isn’t telling us much, for now I’m sitting in the plane on the Tarmac.”

An hour later she tweeted, “”Still on the Tarmac waiting at LAX.”

Schwimmer’s “DWTS” partners included Chaz Bono, Lance Bass and Steve-O.

After leaving the ABC show two years ago, Schwimmer performed in the short-lived “Dancing With the Stars: Live in Las Vegas” and later worked as the co-choreographer of the Stratosphere show, “Pin Up,” featuring 2011 Playboy Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclair.
