Coroner’s office IDs man found shot to death in Las Vegas

The Las Vegas man found shot to death in a southwest valley parking lot Thursday night has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as Gagik Tulbendhyan, 28.

Tulbendhyan was found in an SUV that crashed into another car in a lot in the 7700 block of South Jones Boulevard.

He died from a gunshot wound to the head.

The case is being investigated as a homicide.

Las Vegas police said Tulbendhyan and another man were shot after trying to rob another man who got into the SUV with them. The other man was taken to University Medical Center with wounds that were not life threatening.

Police said they were still looking for the shooter Friday.
