‘Daily Show’ host Stewart takes shots at Bundy

“The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” was on a break last week when Cliven Bundy and the BLM were doing their dance in Bunkerville. But fear not, snark fans. Stewart returned on Monday night and wasted no time giving his take on America’s most famous rancher and the militia men who have his back.
Debuting a new segment called “I Don’t Get It,” Stewart first introduces viewers to Cliven Bundy’s “brothers,” Al and King Kong.
He then gets into what he calls “Your standard boy has cow, boy breaks law for 20 years, boy loses cow” story.
After showing clips of Bundy denying the existence of the federal government, and militia members describing their “strategy” of letting women get shot first, Stewart invokes Descartes and John Locke, before taking one final shot at Bundy:
“If you reject the American federal government, at least have the decency to create your own damn flag.”
This surely isn’t the last we’ll hear about Cliven Bundy and his battle with the BLM, but it’s almost certainly the only take that will include Al Bundy, a former pro wrestler and the father of modern philosophy.
