Bike crash near Red Rock sends several to hospital

Several people were taken to the hospital Saturday morning after a bicycle crash in Red Rock Canyon.

Nevada Highway Patrol responded to Nevada 159 in the Red Rock Canyon area just after 9 a.m. and found a five-bicycle collision, trooper Jeremie Elliott said.

No vehicles were involved in the crash.

All bicycle riders were transported to University Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries. The crash was cleared quickly and did not cause traffic delays, Elliott said.
