April 18, 2019 - 10:39 pm
Las Vegas can expect a warm and sunny remainder of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
After Thursday’s high of 85 degrees, Friday and Saturday have the potential of being the first days this year with 90 degree highs, meteorologist Ashley Wolf said. The last time temperatures reached 90 was Sept. 30, she said.
“We have two pretty significant chances,” she said.
Clear skies are expected Friday through Monday, the weather service said.
The valley will experience winds with gusts up to 25 mph Saturday, Wolf said.
Sunday has a forecast high of 78, followed by highs of 82 on Monday and 87 on Tuesday, Wolf said.
The average temperature for this time of year is 79 degrees.
Overnight lows will be in the low 60s Thursday night, with lows rising to the mid 60s on Friday and Saturday, and then drop back to the low 60s through Monday night.
