Warm in the Las Vegas Valley through the week

Temperatures are expected to warm up this week in the Las Vegas Valley with a near-record high expected on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecast highs for the rest of workweek are: 62 degrees on Tuesday, 66 on Wednesday, 64 on Thursday and 65 on Friday. Overnight lows through the week will be in the mid-40s.

The record high for Dec. 19 is 68 degrees.

No rain is expected through the week.
