Temps expected to reach 110 this week in Las Vegas

This week’s forecast will be more of the same, with high temps peaking about 110, according to the National Weather Service.

But at least it’s a dry heat!

Monday will see cloudless skies and high temperatures about 107, meteorologist Caleb Steele said. Nighttime lows will dip to 81 degrees.

Afternoons Monday through Thursday should see breezes between 10 and 15 miles per hour, Steele said. Skies for the week ahead are expected to be mostly sunny.

Highs Tuesday will hit 107 again before temperatures drop to 82 at night, Steele said.

Wednesday temps will peak about 108 degrees in the afternoon and temperatures will be about 83 at night.

Thursday temperatures are expected to climb to 110 degrees, Steele said. Nighttime lows will be about 85.

There is a chance the valley could see rain starting Saturday, but the forecast that far out is very uncertain, Steele said.
