Temperatures will warm as weekend approaches

Return your heavy winter coat to the back of the closet for now, Las Vegans. Highs will stay in the 60s throughout the week.

“It looks like we’re forecasting a slight warm-up,” said National Weather Service meteorologist Jim Harrison.

Whereas Wednesday’s high was an even 60 degrees — with a low of 37 — temperatures are inching higher, with Thursday’s high expected to reach 63 and Friday’s to reach 65.

The temperate, dry temperatures will linger through Sunday, Harrison said, but it may be breezy Friday and Saturday.
