Sunny and a little cooler this week in Las Vegas Valley

Updated November 4, 2018 - 9:29 pm

Temperatures in the mid-70s over the next few days in the Las Vegas Valley will give way to cooler temperatures later in the week, the National Weather Service said.

The week began Sunday with a high of 73 degrees, and the high on Monday is forecast to reach 77, the weather service said. Temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday should top out at 76, the weather service said.

The cooldown will come Thursday with a forecast high of 68, the weather service said.

The average high temperature for this time of year is 72, according to the weather service. The valley is expected to be dry and sunny this week.

“Pretty much the whole week will be pretty quiet,” meteorologist Ashley Wolf said.

Lows through Thursday should remain in the mid-50s.
