Skies clear in Las Vegas Valley, but rain is coming

You won’t need umbrellas on Monday, Las Vegas.
Storms in the region should stop short of the valley and will only reach the area around Lake Havasu, Ariz., the National Weather Service said.
Also, clouds in the valley and cooler morning temperatures don’t mean you might not break a sweat later in the day when high temperatures should reach 97 degrees, meteorologist Nathan Foster said. Monday’s low dipped to 73 degrees.
Conditions should be substantially different Tuesday, when there’s a 50 chance of rain throughout the day into the night, Foster said. Clouds should keep the highs in the 87-degrees range.
