Seasonal temps, cloudy skies continue in Las Vegas
January 21, 2016 - 9:24 pm
Las Vegas’ weather will be “pretty quiet for the next couple of days,” National Weather Service meteorologist Caleb Steele said Thursday.
But increasing high clouds may limit sunshine and could bring rain to the valley during the weekend.
Thursday had a morning low temperature of 41 degrees and a high temperature of 59 degrees. The overnight low is expected to reach 41 degrees, too. Friday’s forecast high is 60 degrees.
Until Saturday evening, the chances of rain remain low, but a “considerable amount” of high cloud cover will create a partly sunny sky, National Weather Service meteorologist Jim Harrison said.
Harrison said winds are expected to remain light.
Although the valley has a slight chance of rain Saturday, Mount Charleston is expected to receive up to 3 inches of snow on Saturday night, Harrison said.
