Nice weather will have outdoor activities competing with Sunday football

If watching football on TV is not your thing and your definition of a nice day is sunny and in the high 50s, Sunday could be a good day to spend outdoors.

Sunday’s temperature is forecast to reach 59 degrees, National Weather Service meteorologist Reid Wolcott said. You might want to grab a jacket in the evening, as temperatures are set to drop to 42 degrees with a few clouds covering the sky.

There is a very “remote” chance valley mountains can get a snow flurry, Wolcott said.

Monday’s conditions should be just a couple of degrees cooler, Wolcott said. North winds in the next couple of days might bring breezy to gusty conditions with the wind blowing somewhere between the teens to 20 mph, he said.
