Nice and sunny weather to wrap up the week

Here’s a reason to give thanks early: beautiful, warm weather.

Wednesday saw a high temperature of 66, and the forecast just gets better from there, said National Weather Service meteorologist Chad Shafer.

“It’ll be basically picture perfect through the end of the week,” Shafer said.

Thursday and Friday are expected to see highs of 68 and 72, respectively, with lows in the mid to upper 40s both nights, he said.

“You really can’t ask for better weather,” Shafer said about the week’s forecast, which includes very light winds and clear skies.

The winds are expected to pick up this weekend, when the forecast calls for daytime temperatures to slip back into the mid to upper 60s, Shafer said.
