The Las Vegas Valley is in for a warm and sunny week, according to the National Weather Service.
After Tuesday’s high of 87, the rest of the week’s high temperatures should be in the low to mid-90s, the weather service said.
“Clear and sunny skies are expected throughout the week,” meteorologist Andy Gorelow said.
The valley will experience a warming trend, with a high of 90 on Wednesday, followed by highs of 94 on Thursday and 95 on Friday, which would be the warmest day this year so far, Gorelow said.
Thursday and Friday will also see slight breezes with gusts up to 20 mph, the weather service said.
Saturday should see a high of 94, and Sunday’s forecast high is 89. There are no rain chances through the weekend, and overnight lows through Saturday will be in the high 60s.
The average high temperature for this time of year is 81, the weather service said.
