Las Vegas Valley will have a hot, sunny weekend

The end of July is looking pretty dry as sunny skies and high temperatures are forecasted for the weekend, the National Weather Service said.

Friday will be warm with a 101-degree high, though it may be a little windy with south winds 10 to 15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph. The day’s low will range in the upper 70s by the evening.

Saturday and Sunday will be pretty similar, meteorologist Jim Harrison said. Both days are expected to have highs of 102 and lows in the upper 70s to low 80s.
