Las Vegas Valley weather perfect for Halloween weekend

Friday’s gusty winds are expected to die down just in time for Halloween.

The 20- to 30-mph northerly winds will continue into late afternoon Friday before making way for “the ideal fall weather this weekend,” said meteorologist Chad Shafer.

There is no chance of rain for this weekend and temperatures are 3 to 8 degrees higher than normal for this time of year, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday will see a high of 75 and a low of 57. Saturday warms up slightly during the day with a high of 79 and low of 57.

“We couldn’t ask for better Halloween weather,” Shafer said.

But don’t get too comfy because things are expected to take a downward turn next week.

Chances of precipitation will go up and temperatures are expected to drop 10 to 20 degrees by the middle of next week, according to the weather service.
