Las Vegas temperatures to rise before cooling at end of week

The Las Vegas Valley will see rising temperatures over the next few days, the National Weather Service said.

“We’re warming up through Thursday,” weather service meteorologist Barry Pierce said.

Monday through Thursday shows forecast highs near 61 degrees with mostly sunny skies, according to the weather service.

“The only real bump n the road’s gonna be Thursday,” Pierce said.

The valley will see a 10 percent chance of showers and winds that could gust between 30 and 40 mph, the weather service said.

Friday temperatures are expected to dip slightly when the valley will see a high of 57, but temperatures will climb back into the low 60s for the weekend. Sunny skies and dry conditions are expected in the valley Friday through Sunday, the weather service said.

Lows throughout the week should stay in the upper 30s to low 40s, the weather service said.
