Las Vegas might see rain tonight

Those cloudy skies may eventually drop some rain, Las Vegas.

A 20 percent chance of showers is forecast through Wednesday night, National Weather Service meteorologist Jim Harrison said. Weak showers to the south of Las Vegas will move north this evening, bringing sprinkles and potential for showers over the valley.

Temperatures will peak about 77 degrees and nighttime lows will drop to 62 degrees.

Weather models show the system of moisture is moving out by Thursday morning, Harrison said. Partly cloudy conditions will accompany north winds between 10 and 15 miles per hour. High temperatures will reach about 76 degrees and nighttime lows will dip to 55 degrees.

Friday will be sunny and breezy with high temperatures about 79 degrees and low temps about 56 degrees.

Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny with light winds and high temperatures in the low 80s, Harrison said. Lows for both nights are forecast at 55 and 56 degrees.

Today’s slight chance of rain is the last hint of moisture the valley will see for at least the next week, Harrison said.
