Las Vegas can expect hot temperatures, cloudy skies this weekend

Temperatures close to or above 100 degrees be paired with cloudy skies this weekend in the Las Vegas Valley, according to the National Weather Service.

After Friday’s high of 102 degrees, clouds on Saturday will bring high temperatures down to 99, the weather service said. The clouds should continue into Sunday with partly cloudy skies and a high of 101.

Breezy conditions are expected from Friday to Sunday, meteorologist Andrew Gorelow said, with winds of 10 to 20 mph blowing in from the south and southwest in the afternoon

Monday’s skies will be mostly sunny with a high of 105 degrees, and Tuesday temperatures will reach 104, followed by 102 on Wednesday. Overnight lows will be about 77 degrees, the weather service said.
