Gusty winds remain with cool temps in Las Vegas Valley

Breezes are coming back to the Las Vegas Valley.

Wednesday will see gusts up to 20 mph in the late afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. The forecast high is 78 degrees.

A cold front will sweep through the valley Thursday, dropping the high to 66 degrees. Gusts will increase up to 30 mph, and the valley will see a 20 percent chance of rain from the late afternoon to early evening, the weather service said.

Winds will be calmer Friday, and temperatures will start to rise with a forecast high of 76. Breezes should clear out by the weekend, when highs will be in the mid- to high-80s.

Lows throughout the week will be in the low-50s to low-60s.
