Beautiful weekend weather for Las Vegas Valley before winds move in

Las Vegans should enjoy the quiet weather before winds pick up and temperatures drop early next week.

Friday and Saturday will see highs of 67 and lows in the mid-40s, according to meteorologist Caleb Steele.

“Things are quiet and near seasonable,” Steele said about temperatures being just a couple degrees below normal.

Winds will start to move in Sunday out of the southwest and will reach 15-20 mph by the afternoon. The winds will increase Sunday night and into Monday.

Monday should expect winds between 25 and 30 mph with gusts around 40 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

There is a slight chance of showers Monday with 15 percent precipitation and a high of 57, according to the weather service.
