Woman killed in Route 160 crash ID’d

The woman killed in the crash on state Route 160 Saturday morning has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Cheryl Leigh Huff, 26, died after the Jeep SUV she was the passenger in collided with a van near state Route 160 and El Capitan Way about 8:50 a.m. Saturday.

The van was traveling north on state Route 160 when it turned into the path of the Jeep traveling south, according to Nevada Highway Patrol spokesman Jeremie Elliott.

Huff died at the scene.

The driver of the jeep was transported to to University Medical Center in critical condition. The driver of the van was not injured, Elliott said.
