Two critically injured after motorcycle accident

Two motorcyclists are in critical condition after colliding with a car at Las Vegas and Silverado Ranch boulevards Tuesday night, according to Las Vegas police.

Witnesses and evidence indicated driver Erick Nzuwa, 18, was headed southbound on Las Vegas Boulevard on a 2012 Honda motorcycle with passenger Tonya Leafham, 18, at about 8:30 p.m.

As they entered the intersection at Silverado Ranch Boulevard, the motorcycle struck the front door of a northbound 2012 Mini Cooper.

Nzuwa and Leafham were thrown from the motorcycle and transported to University Medical Center.

Molly Potter, 28, who was driving the Mini Cooper, was also transported to UMC. She suffered minor injuries.

The accident is still under investigation by police.
