Southern 215 Beltway reopens after crash

All eastbound lanes are open on the southern 215 Beltway near Interstate 15 after a truck overturned Wednesday morning, according to the Regional Transportation Commission.

Nevada Highway Patrol got the call about 10:40 a.m. of a white-box truck carrying ice, turned on its side. Trooper Loy Hixson said they were able to get other cars around the truck through the right shoulder.

The truck driver was not seriously injured and was not transported to a hospital.

Traffic lanes on highway were closed for about two hours until the crash was cleaned up.
