One killed in single-car accident Monday morning

One person is dead after a single-vehicle rollover crash in Henderson early Monday morning.

Around 3:15 a.m., a driver of a Nissan Versa lost control of his car and crashed near the intersection of Stephanie Road and Galleria Drive, according to Henderson Police Department spokesman Keith Paul.

A passenger in the Versa died at the scene. The driver was taken to Sunrise Hospital, but his condition has not been released.

The preliminary investigation indicates that speed and alcohol were a factor in the crash, according to police.
