A 51-year-old man was killed in a crash Thursday morning in Henderson after a car turned in front of his motorcycle.

The Clark County coroner’s office identified the man as William Spellman of Henderson.

Henderson police said Spellman was riding a Yamaha motorcycle east on Horizon Ridge Parkway near Coronado Center Drive when a 17-year-old boy driving a Dodge Neon turned in front of the motorcycle.

Spellman was taken to St. Rose Domincan Hospital , but died. The driver of the Dodge was not hurt.

This was the sixth traffic related fatality in the Henderson Police Department’s jurisdiction in 2013.
