Man arrested in high-speed crash that killed woman in North Las Vegas

The woman killed in a car accident in North Las Vegas about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Police said North Las Vegas resident Pamela Zanandrea, 52, died after her Toyota sedan was struck by a Cadillac traveling at excessive speeds swerved lanes as she attempted to make a U-turn at the intersection of Ann Road and Camino Al Norte, sending her vehicle into a light pole.

She died at the scene.

The driver of the Cadillac, identified by police as 27-year-old Nathan Brudjar, and a passenger from the Toyota were taken to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Brudjar was arrested and faces charges of DUI and reckless driving.

Police are still looking for a male passenger from the Cadillac who fled the crash scene.
