Las Vegas motorcylist killed in morning crash on Desert Inn

A 30-year-old Las Vegas man died Thursday morning after his motorcycle rear-ended a car on Desert Inn Road.

The unidentified man’s 2012 Suzuki GSXR 1000 hit a 1994 Nissan Altima GXE about 4 a.m. near Tenaya Way, Las Vegas police said.

The motorcyclist was taken to University Medical Center, where he died. The other driver, Juan Onofre-Acefedo, 46, was unhurt.

Police closed Desert Inn between Tenaya and Buffalo Drive until 9 a.m.
