I-11 northbound reopened after crash; motorcyclist critically injured
A man was hospitalized Saturday after a morning crash on a main Las Vegas Valley highway, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
All of the northbound lanes on Interstate 11 in Las Vegas near Henderson reopened Saturday afternoon after they were closed following the crash that was reported just after 9 a.m.
According to an email sent by a spokesperson for the Highway Patrol, the crash involved a motorcycle and a semitruck. A man who was driving the motorcycle was taken to a local hospital and listed in critical condition.
According to a Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada post on X at 12:37 p.m., all northbound lanes on I-11, also known as U.S. Highway 95, between Russell Road and Nellis Boulevard were closed following the crash.
Another X post from the RTC at 2:29 p.m. said the lanes had been reopened.
Images from a traffic camera during the closure showed several law enforcement vehicles parked near a semitruck.

Members of the Highway Patrol’s Traffic Homicide Unit investigated the crash, the spokesman said.
