Crash involving RTC bus closes U.S. 95 lanes near Boulder Highway

A four-vehicle crash involving an RTC bus is closing two lanes of northbound traffic on U.S. Highway 95, near Boulder Highway, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

NHP troopers responded at 5:38 p.m. to the wreck involving three vehicles and a 15-passenger RTC bus. Three people were taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, NHP Trooper Loy Hixson said.

It was not immediately clear if the bus was carrying passengers, or if the people taken to the hospital were drivers or passengers in the wreck, Hixson said.

The right two lanes of traffic are being blocked while all four vehicles are being towed, Hixson said about 6:15 p.m.

Those lanes should be re-opened by 7 p.m., he said.
