Coroner’s office identifies motorcyclist killed in accident

A motorcyclist who died in a single-vehicle crash outside of Jean late Saturday night has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office.

Michael Sando, 50, of Las Vegas, was northbound about 10 p.m. on Las Vegas Boulevard. He lost control of the motorcycle and was thrown from the bike, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

Cause of death was cerebral blunt trauma.
