Car crash in parking lot leaves three people hospitalized

Three people, including two children, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a string of fixed-object collisions in a Wal-mart parking lot.

Las Vegas police said just after 9 p.m., the 29-year-old driver of Nissan Pathfinder drove into the Arroyo Market Square parking lot, near Rainbow Boulevard and the Clark County 215 Beltway, and proceeded to drive the Pathfinder into a planter box.

The vehicle also hit a stop sign, tree, shopping cart corral, and finally a column in front of the store, police said.

The driver and two passengers, a two-year-old and four-year-old, were taken to University Medical Center.

The accident remains under investigation.
