Burning car leads to traffic slowdown on U.S. 95 in Henderson

A vehicle fire briefly slowed Henderson traffic Wednesday afternoon, Nevada Highway Patrol troopers say.

Police and highway patrol troopers responded to U.S. Highway 95 southbound lanes near Galleria Drive around 4 p.m. Wednesday and found a black Honda on fire, trooper Joy Hixson said.

The car was in the left shoulder and left lanes were briefly blocked while firefighters put the blaze out, Hixson said. Traffic was cleared up by 6 p.m.
